Here at Stewart Brannen Millwork we know how important it is for you to get the door that you desire. We have several wood species to chose from. All of the wood species can be painted and most all can be stained. We have some recommendations as to what woods work best where so please take that into consideration when choosing one for you next project. Currently we use Sapele, Poplar, Pine, Oak, Cypress, Cherry and Alder.
Stain Color Comparison.
We have 5 stain colors that are formulated to match Minwax off the shelf colors. We have some pictures to show the variance in color within the same type of wood. We have three samples of Sapele with the same color applied. This is to demonstrate the slight differences in the wood itself. If you request a color sample or look at one while visiting one of our dealers please keep this in mind.
